“Who Do You Love More?” Western Recorder August 25, 2015

This week we had National Dog Day. We salute you Jake.
This week we had National Dog Day. We salute you Jake.

Now writing for the Western Recorder here in Kentucky.  Teacher friends, praying for you.  Newbies, you are probably about to GET PAID!!!! Go spend some of it on you.

Remember teachers, our job is challenging because everyday we are piercing the darkness by possibly praying for a child that no one has ever prayed for.  You never know what God has in store: that child might someday believe in Jesus and their whole household might be saved (Acts 16:31).

God can do anything, change a discipline mess, send that unexpected blessing your way, do miracles.  I asked God this week to send me a break, blessing, something small, because the day had been long.  You know, teacher long–a teacher’s day can be akin to dog years.  He did.  God has blessed me more than I deserve.  He owes me nothing, but He continues to bless me in big and small ways.

So, go change the world.  And it is Friday, the best day of all days. Stand at the door and sing “So long, far well, Auf Wiedersehen, adieu, to you and you and you…”

And here’s the article from the Western Recorder.

It’s also an article I posted earlier on this blog if this link doesn’t take you there.

  1. Your words cut straight to my soul! I look forward so much to your blog. I pray that God will continue to give you wise words to bless us teachers who may be (or probably are) struggling so much!
