Needed To Start My Day Out Right-Breaking Some Chains

Needed this song on the way to school and after I got to school, I turned on the KLOVE.  Gotta drive the darkness out!  So, a quick verse and a song to start your day tomorrow.  Don’t give up–don’t give in.  This is not where we belong, but it is the mission field God has called us to, so press forward, with our King in sight. We work not for men, but for God.

2 Corinthians 4:8-9 New International Version (NIV)

8 We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; 9 persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.

Break Every Chain

Praying for you!

  1. Hi Kathy,

I just wanted to say thank you for all of your timely posts and words. I happened across your blog that was shared by a teacher friend on facebook. I have been a substitute teacher for 15 years, as my kids were growing up and decided last January, at the age of 41, to teach full time, in all places, kindergarten! Needless to say, this first month of teaching has been exciting, frustrating, exhausting, all rolled into one. Your posts have been exactly what I’ve needed, exactly when I’ve needed them. Thank you for sharing your heart and letting God use you to encourage teachers, and encourage me.
